A global energy executive and former presidential candidate in the 2019 general elections, Mr Gbenga Olawepo -Hashim, has warned Federal Government to be more vigilant with the death of Chadian leader, Marshall Idris Deby.
According to him, his demise has the potential of complicating Nigeria’s security issues, particularly in the North-East and North-West regions.
While reacting to the death of the Chadian strongman, Olawepo-Hashim said in an interview that Nigeria’s policy experts must of necessity, be very worried about the development now.
“The death of Marshal Idris Deby, until yesterday, President of Chad is undoubtedly a set back for Nigeria’s national security.”
