Let’s jump into this week’s episode of AEW Dark.
Ryan Mantell (AEW debut) vs. Lance Archer (26-5)
Jake Roberts on commentary once again. He lets us know Archer has promised a brand new move. I’m intrigued. Speaking of Jake, it continues to be incredible how great this guy looks. DDP is the best. Mantell actually bringing the fight to Archer, so give him credit for that. Jake hypes up the new move throughout the match, but Taz realizes Archer was probably ribbing him. Archer eventually destroys Mantell for the win at 3:09.
AEW Dark: );
Jake Roberts would tease a new move from Lance Archer repeatedly on commentary. The move may never have materialised, but the win for Archer did. A dominant display by Archer to kick off AEW Dark.
QT Marshall & Aaron Solow (w/ Nick Comoroto) defeat Terrell & Terrence Hughes via pinfall: );
Yet another appearance for the children of D-Von Dudley on AEW Dark, and another defeat. The team of Marshall and Solow looked to have the match won after a huge neckbreaker, but a distraction allowed the Hughes’ brothers to find their footing. They would follow this up by paying tribute to their father with a diving headbutt, before going for the 3-D. This would lead to their demise as Marshall would cause a distraction, before hitting the Diamond Cutter for the win.

Episode 95 of
AEW Dark featured Joey Janela in frustration, Sonny Kiss possibly having new friends, Frankie Kazarian hunting hunks, and the Dark Order getting one over on Matt Hardy.
The show was pretty much all wrestling, but there was one moment of intrigue involving the dissolved relationship between Joey Janela and Sonny Kiss. Janela was interviewed by Alex Marvez about an injury update. Janela provided no answer. When asked out Kiss putting an end to their tag team, Janela lowered his sunglasses and glared. Marvez tried to cheer up Janela by mentioning a new go-go bar called Melon Farm. Janela replied, “I’m just frustrated.”
