(Fargo, ND) The Fargo Fire Department says a kitchen fire started on a stove top. Fire Marshal Ryan Erickson says the blaze in an apartment in the 800 block of 42nd Street South broke out after a cardboard box went up in flames after sitting on top of the stove. (Fargo, ND) We're getting an update on why crews from the Fargo Fire Department raced to the Casey's gas station off 23rd avenue south Tuesday evening. Fire Marshal Ryan Erickson says firefighters found an overheated electrical extension cord that caused a small fire at the gas station around 8:30 p.m. "Damage was minimal," said Erickson in a statement made to WDAY Radio.
