2 injured in Bristol Twp. fire that started near a space heater: Fire Marshal

The fire happened around 4 a.m. Saturday on the 4900 block of Beaver Dam Road.
Officials with the Bristol Township Fire Department said that the two who live in the home were woken up by neighbors banging on their doors and windows.
Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said the residents had escaped by the time fire crews arrived. He said, when firefighters got to the home, no smoke alarms were sounding.
Dippolito said the fire appears to have started in the living room near an electric space heater.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA A house in Bristol Township caught fire early Christmas morning as members of the family who lives there were wrapping gifts.
Firefighters were dispatched to the fire, on Geranium Road, at 1:13 a.m. Friday, according to Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito. He said members of the family were awake at the time, as they finished wrapping Christmas presents.
Trucks from Levittown Fire Company No. 2 were returning from another call when the fire was reported, according to Dippolito. He said they were able to respond quickly and contain the fire to one bedroom.
