NORTHUMBERLAND, N.H. (AP) - A woman died of smoke inhalation following a fire in a residential building in Northumberland, firefighters said.
Janet Deforrest, 70, died Friday, the state medical examiner’s office said. The manner of death is accidental.
The fire was reported Friday morning.

The investigation is ongoing.
