Totton Carnival This float kept its spirits up despite Englands early exit from Euro 2000. ONE of the biggest carnivals in the Southampton area has been cancelled for the second yrear running because of the pandemic. Organisers of the Totton and Eling Carnival - due to have taken place on June 19 - have announced that the event will not take place. Writing on social media they said: As you re probably expecting the committee have come to the decision we will not be going ahead. We want to continue to keep our community safe and think it s too soon to be organising such a gathering just yet.
