The country s space probe, called Hope, officially entered Mars orbit at around 16:15 GMT on Tuesday, marking the completion of a 493 million km journey from Earth.  Hope will be the first probe to provide a complete picture of planet s atmosphere and its layers, according to the UAE.  It will answer key questions about the loss of hydrogen and oxygen gases into space, over the span of one Martian year (687 Earth days).
