Storm drains up and running. There is a serious concern about the potential for flooding and landslides. Not only did fires level homes, there is a new issue that has popped up. City Officials Say the flames burned a number of underground storm drains. With all of the rain expected to fall this week, these damaged pipes could lead to flooding and landslides in the burned areas. Reporter this is the scene a short time ago at cross creek work crews are out working to replace burned out sections of pipes that run underneath the road there. City and county officials have identified at least 23 different locations were storm drains have been destroyed by the fire. Mainly in the Fountain Grove neighborhood. On friday, part of the hillside collapsed near some homes on newberry court. Crews are out there to replace that underground pipe.
