Alabama News Network has confirmed that one person has been injured in a shooting in Brundidge.
Brundidge Police Chief Marquez James says it started with an argument between two people in the parking lot of a business at N. Main St. and Veterans Blvd. this afternoon.
One person was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He says officers are working to identify a suspect.

Two people have been arrested in the death of a man whose body was found in Brundidge last week.
Pike County Sheriff Russell Thomas and Brundidge Police Chief Marquez James say 23-year-old Raven Braswell of Springhill and 22-year-old Joshua Devon Peterson of Clayton face capital murder charges.
The body of 44-year-old Cordero Ousley was found on Floyd Street in Brundidge on Tuesday, April 20. Ousley was found shot lying face down in a grassy area, which Sheriff Thomas says is a very isolated area with no traffic.
Based on the sheriff’s release, Ousley was lured to Floyd Street by Raven Braswell where he was robbed and shot to death.

BRUNDIDGE, Ala. (WSFA) - Brundidge police are searching for the people responsible for an armed robbery at a local convenience store.
Brundidge Police Chief Marquez James said they got the call at approximately 6:47 a.m. Monday and responded to the store in the 1000 block of U.S. 231.
Police say the owner and two patrons reported that two males robbed the business at gunpoint. They said the suspects held the clerk hostage while trying to rob them.
Police say both patrons engaged in a physical altercation with the suspects to try to stop them. No one was shot but one of the patrons received minor injuries.
