Ohio man held in Randolph County knife incident

WINCHESTER, Ind. An Ohio man is accused of using a knife to threaten a former co-worker at a Randolph County fast-food restaurant.
Jayden L. McEldowney, 29, Fort Recovery, this week was preliminarily charged in Randolph Circuit Court with intimidation with a deadly weapon, a Level 5 felony carrying up to six years in prison.
According to documents filed by Randolph County Prosecutor David Daly s office, McEldowney last Friday night entered the McDonald s restaurant at 115. S. Columbia St. in Union City and threatened an employee with a knife.
A Union City police officer reported viewing a surveillance video that showed McEldowney, a former employee at the restaurant, grabbing (the victim) upon the shirt collar, and holding an open-bladed knife above her head.
