End in sight for Harare, Marondera water woes Herald Reporters President Mnangagwa is today expected to commission Causeway Dam near Marondera that is expected to be part of water supply solutions to Harare’s eastern suburbs and the dormitory town of Ruwa. The commissioning of the multi-million dollar Machekeranwa/Causeway Dam in Marondera East is yet another fulfilment of the President’s promise to ensure that the district realises its full economic potential through irrigation development. The dam, which is expected to provide water for domestic, agricultural, and industrial use was completed this year after Government released funds following the dawn of the New Dispensation under the leadership of President Mnangagwa.

By Staff Reporter FORMER top MDC Alliance official Tracy Mutinhiri is expected to rejoin Zanu PF amid reports she recently handed a letter to the Mashonaland East provincial leadership begging for her readmission. The former wife to another once expelled senior Zanu PF official and former minister, Ambrose Mutinhiri, Tracy joined the MDC in 2012, only a few days after she had been fired from the ruling party. A former diplomat, deputy minister and Zanu PF MP for Marondera East MP, her troubles in the ruling party started in 2011 when she was the deputy labour minister and attended the burial of her brother Innocent Muzuva, who was an MDC supporter.
