This is the week that company sometimes shows up. It may be down this year, but still THE week in Augusta.
So what do you show them?
Most have their own plans, which involve some attractive acreage on Washington Road.
Others might be along for the ride … and would simply want to see our sights … or our sites.
The last time I really showed off the town was a visit from history author Nathaniel Philbrick. He and his wife were here to research a book on George Washington and he naturally wanted to see where the first president might have stayed during his famous 1791 visit.
