Rapid gender assessment kicked off in LDS via enumerators training

ILIGAN CITY, May 21 (PIA) The Plan International under the Marawi Response Project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in partnership with the Islamic Relief Worldwide Philippines began the 45-day rapid gender assessment in Lanao del Sur with a three-day training for 20 enumerators.
Such is done in preparation for the actual assessment as they will be deployed and distributed to the municipalities in the province to administer the proper running of the activity.
Marlon Libot, the chief of party of USAID and Plan International s Marawi Response Project, said the rapid gender assessment is seen as survey that aims to magnify the needs of women and other genders in the community, and the significant impacts brought by the gender program in line with the ongoing pandemic and the remarkable Marawi siege.

The Plan International under the Marawi Response Project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) partnered with the Islamic Relief Worldwide Philippines to run a 45-day rapid gender assessment in the said province.
Marlon Libot, chief of Party of USAID and Plan International s Marawi Response Project, said the assessment is a survey that targets to contribute to the progress of the implementation of Gender and Development Code in the area.

Plan Intl, EAI Ph recognize peace projects of 12 Lanao youths

MARAWI CITY, May 20 (PIA) The Plan International and Equal Access International - Philippines (EAI Ph) recognized the 12 Peace Promotion Fellowship (PPF) youths in Lanao provinces during the Town Hall Meeting and Awarding Ceremony on Thursday.
These 12 youths implemented peace projects and campaigns for three months. These youth are grouped into three to spearhead projects namely Project RINAWareness, Project KaLAKElintad, and Peace Harvest.
Plan International chief of party Marlon Libot shared that the youth groups received grants under the USAID - Marawi Response Project (MRP).
