NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - After several recent brazen attacks of women, the NOPD is investigating another violent carjacking. This time, it happened early Thursday morning, just after midnight on Jan. 14, on Cadiz Street in Uptown New Orleans.
Police say the victim was parking her car when an armed gunman demanded she get out. He then was able to get away with her car which was later recovered in another location.
People who live in the area say the neighborhood is normally pretty safe.
