Washington Ruritan Club recently awarded its $1,200 Rising Seniors scholarships to four seniors at Marlington High School.
Emilee Ritchie received the Dwight Ickes Memorial Scholarship. The daughter of Amy and Bryan Ritchie, she plans to attend Walsh University to study nursing and specialize in pediatric care.
The Donald Krabill Scholarship went to Allison Lacher. The daughter of Eve and Steve Lacher will attend the University of Mount Union to study psychology and play basketball.
Aiden Trummer received the Build Your Dollars Scholarship in conjunction with the Ruritan National Foundation. Trummer, son of Lisa and Mitch Trummer, plans to study political science at University of Mount Union.
Hoover High School will host a virtual open house for new and prospective families on Feb. 17.
