WorkSafeBC and the B.C. Coroners Service are investigating the death of a milkman who was crushed under a collapsed carport while making a delivery in South Vancouver on Thursday.
The unattended Dairyland/Saputo delivery truck rolled down an incline and struck one of the carport’s support posts, which caused the structure to collapse. The lifeless body of the 50-year-old delivery driver was found underneath the rubble.

Vancouver police say the workplace fatality happened around 10 a.m. at a condo complex on Marlin Quay, near Nanaimo Street and South East Marine Drive.
