Firefighters are working through the night to monitor a fire near the napa airport that started about 2 30 at a salvage yard in American Canyon packed with dozens of vehicles. Strong winds helped that fire grow rapidly to 20 acres, smoke could be seen for miles around. Firefighters have a handle on that fire but they are staying there overnight monitoring hot spots.
