Nearly five months after dogs were found starved and deceased at the Marlin animal shelter, the Texas Rangers have launched an official investigation to look into the incident.
Since several dogs were found dead and neglected at the Marlin Animal Shelter, protesters have been rallying in front of the Falls County Courthouse, and on Wednesday, the Sheriff’s Office.
After months of silence, the Marlin city council addressed concerns about the city animal shelter. The council said they will hold a special meeting in regard to the animal shelter and police chief.
