Senator Marilyn Moore Lends Support to LifeBridge Take the Cill out of Winter Coat Distribution
In an effort to “Take the Chill Out of Winter,” LifeBridge Community Services will distribute warm winter apparel to the many families it serves with help from Senator Marilyn Moore. New and gently used coats and other winter gear will be given away to LifeBridge clients on Tuesday, December 15 and Wednesday, December 16 at their Bridgeport headquarters located at 475 Clinton Avenue.
“We are relaunching our Community Closet operation which was impacted by the COVID-19 crisis,” said LifeBridge President & CEO Alan Mathis. “We wanted to be sure that the families we continue to serve through the Diaper Bank, Urban Scholars, Behavioral Health and other programs have what they need to stay warm this winter. It’s been a tough year and many of those we serve are struggling right now.”
