5 new wine bars to try soon in Phoenix, Glendale, Gilbert and Chandler

Chris French and Pat Jasmin have worked in the wine industry for years, in restaurants, wholesale and wine brokerage. Now they re looking to leave the corporate world behind and get back to the more personal side of wine. So they re opening their own wine bar. Far Away Wine and Provisions, named after the song Far Away Eyes by the Rolling Stones, is set to open on Indian School Road west of 32nd Street in mid-April.  The tiny bar and bottle shop will focus on Arizona, California and Oregon wineries, though bottles will be available from near and far.  The name is more about taking you far away from your troubles, Jasmin says.
