Long and three other song writers Phillip White, Marla Cannon-Goodman and Josh Martin performed in front of a filled theatre, as attendees got to hear stories about how their favorite songs were crafted and brought to life by these artists. Long says it was a joy to perform at the theater after so long, and especially a joy to return in-person and play in front of a generous crowd, though he says the community did not let them down in fundraising at all during last year’s show.
