Goals by Houston s Tyler Pasher and FC Cincinnati s Alvaro Barreal in the first five minutes of the match proved to be the lone scores as the teams played to a 1-1 draw on Saturday night in Houston.
The game was delayed for 30 minutes because of weather around the stadium area. But once it got underway, both teams were more than ready.
Houston got the scoring started, with Pasher taking a crossing pass in the third minute from Sam Junqua and ripping a left-footed shot from the center of the box to the top left corner of the net past Cincinnati keeper Kenneth Vermeer.
