Created and piloted by faculty from the UK College of Education, the UK College of Agriculture, Food, and Environment, UK Libraries and the UK Markey Cancer Center, a course titled “Design Thinking in Education” tasked students last semester with the challenge of improving the diagnostic experience for cancer patients at the Markey Cancer Center. The course is just the beginning of UK’s new campus initiative that builds upon the existing efforts to put students first.
