新发基金是公募FOF规模增长的主要力量，多只新发公募FOF成为爆款。如兴证全球优选平衡三个月持有发行规模达到79.15亿元，创公募FOF成立规模纪录；广发核心优选、浦银安盛嘉和稳健一年持有、嘉实民安添岁稳健养老一年持有等今年发行的公募FOF募资规模都超过50亿元。
从单只产品来看，交银安享稳健养老一年最新规模为152.87亿元，是市场上唯一一只百亿FOF；民生加银康宁稳健养老一年、广发核心优选六个月持有、国君资管君得益三个月持有等FOF规模也都在70亿元以上。
