Kim Wheeler
LEWISBURG â SEDA-Council of Governments announced Kim Wheeler, Lewisburg Boroughâs special projects coordinator and grants manager, will become its new executive director.
Wheeler worked for the borough since January 2019. She previously worked for SEDA-COG from 2003 to 2007 as a senior planner.
She is expected to be officially ratified into her new role by SEDA-COGâs board of directors on Jan. 27. Her first day at SEDA-COG is planned for Jan. 11.
âItâs a big deal. Iâm excited about that. Thereâs been a lot of years building up this pathway for me,â Wheeler said.
Wheeler was the deputy director of planning at the County of Lycoming from 2014 to 2019, along with working there for two prior years. From 2007 to 2012, she was the local government policy specialist and north-central region community planner for the state Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED).
