Anna Catherine Bradford will be crowned Evangeline and the Indian princesses will be introduced during a ceremony Saturday evening at the Plaquemine Community Center.
Live music, food, activities for kids, along with hot air balloons will all be a part of “Boogie on the Bayou” Friday at the Mark A. “Tony” Gulotta Bayou Plaquemine Waterfront Park.
A few added attractions will be on the lineup when the City of Plaquemine Main Street Program’s “Boogie on the Bayou” returns this fall to the Mark A. “Tony” Gulotta Bayou Waterfront Park.
Twenty-one years may seem like enough time for an event to operate exactly as its organizers want, but the organizers of Plaquemine’s Fourth of July event do not want to rest on their laurels.
