FALL RIVER Police are looking for the gunman or gunmen who shot two people to death and injured a third late Tuesday afternoon near Griffin Park.
Two victims a 29-year-old Fall River man and a 14-year-old juvenile male were rushed to Saint Anne s Hospital and Charlton Memorial Hospital respectively, where they were declared dead, according to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn s Office.
The third male shooting victim, 19, of Fall River, was transported to Saint Anne s Hospital via a private vehicle, according to the DA s office. This victim has since been transported to Rhode Island Hospital for further treatment.
St. Joseph Campus discharges final COVID patient, shifts to center for outpatient & ambulatory care

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WKBW) â Catholic Health announced Sisters of Charity Hospital St. Joseph Campus discharged its final COVID patient Tuesday.
In March plans were announced to redevelop the hospital, the area s first and only dedicated COVID-19 treatment facility, into a center for outpatient and ambulatory care. Today, the hospital begins a new chapter in its service to the community as a center for outpatient surgery and ambulatory care with a concentrated focus on emergency, endoscopy/GI, orthopaedic, and rehabilitation services. Orthopedic surgery services resumed at St. Joseph Campus on March 29. The hospitalâs Emergency Department is expected to reopen on June 7, a release says.

What’s left to say about 2020 except that it’s over. But what a year with the well-chronicled coronavirus pandemic that killed more than 300,000; racial unrest that created division in across many communities and a presidential election that was over until it wasn’t. And there was plenty of more to a year that goes down as one of the most memorable in recent history. Here’s some of what happened.

âThis planning coalition needs to be based on data, information, census data, disease prevalence, co-morbidities, those most vulnerable among the population of citizens throughout the five counties,â Mark A. Sullivan, CEO of Catholic Health System, said Wednesday.
âSo the regional planning group will need to be focusing on that, and that group will be underway shortly,â Sullivan said.
The five counties in the Western New York region are Erie, Niagara, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua and Allegany.
âIn order to vaccinate, we need to have an operations team, and, again, this structure has been determined at the state level, and all 10 regions (across the state) or hub leads or coordinators will be using the same structure,â Sullivan said.
