2021 Drive for Design Contest Wants Artistic Students To Design The Future
Design The Future By Sketching Your Version Of An Electrified Jeep
March 10, 2021 , Auburn Hills, Mich. – Does your high school student have a passion for drawing? Do you often see them doodling or sketching objects in their notebook? If you have a high school student in 10-12 grade that enjoys drawing and also loves cars, they should check out the 9th annual 2021 Drive for Design contest.
Without a nudge from an art teacher, a visit to an art school or just plain luck, some of the world’s top automotive designers may never have made their mark in automotive design history.
FCA might be history, but their Drive for Design contest is continuing in the Stellantis era.
This year’s contest kicked off earlier today and it asks 10-12 grade U.S. high school students to imagine the electrified Jeep of the future. Teens are free to let their imaginations run wild as the sketches can include everything from traditional trucks and SUVs to vehicles that travel by water or air.
Entries can be submitted at StellantisDriveForDesign.com and they’re due May 14th. They’ll be judged by members of the product design office and evaluated on craftsmanship, design quality, illustration and originality.
