That was the simple but enthusiastic message ALG Vacations president Ray Snisky delivered here Thursday as the company welcomed top-selling advisors to its first big rewards trip since the pandemic. And while the crisis isn t over, executive vice president Jacqueline Marks said, we are on the other side. Every day blows us away, she said, noting that bookings currently are trending 30% over comparable periods in 2019.

| Edyta Satchell has been a busy travel industry executive for years, working for companies including Travel Leaders Group, ARC and the Mark Travel Corp. As such, she spent a lot of time on the road, but she began noticing a pattern: She would frequently get sick with everything from stomach problems to skin issues. She thought to herself, There must be a better way. After all, getting sick on the road affects not only health, but productivity, Satchell said. So, having decided to try and find a solution, she founded Satchelle Global Travel Wellness. Satchell is a certified health coach focused on travel, nutrition and beauty. She is also certified in oncology esthetics to support cancer survivors. She offers wellness consultation services to both individuals and corporations as well as to travel advisors looking to incorporate wellness into the services they provide.

MPG Travel Solutions is expanding its business-optimization practice to help facilitate partnerships between agents and agencies that have struggled during the Covid-19 pandemic. The travel industry consulting firm plans to use its network of clients to match agents with like-minded agencies to help both survive the current crisis. We want to help those people and organizations who are under significant operational pressure find a path to survive, said Terry Morrison, one of the founders of MPG. We will match those agents and agencies with others that share their goals and values, and that by doing so, [we are hopeful] they can make it through until the time that leisure travel rebounds.
