Wednesday, June 9, 2021 Chain helps fund teacher’s projects for Teacher Appreciation Month Four teachers with the Southwest School District in Washburn recently received a combined donation of $725 from national restaurant chain Sonic Drive-In. The donation was made on Teacher Appreciation Day Tuesday, May 4 through Sonic’s Limeades for Learning initiative, which donated $1.5 million to help fund more than 7,000 teacher requests for critical resources made on the national education nonprofit site DonorsChoose.org.
