A new musical work honoring a fallen central Ohio soldier will be premiered when the Newark-Granville Symphony Orchestra performs Home of the Brave, the first concert on its 2022-23 season.
A new study looks at Billboard’s 100 most popular songs for each year from 2012 to 2020. The study found 87.4% of the songwriters for those hits are men compared to 12.6% being women. When you look at how many of the hits were written only by women, that takes the number down to less than 1%.
