NOMPU SIZIBA: It’s that time of the year when retailers will be busy as consumers do their last-minute festive shopping ahead of Christmas and the new year. A lot of cash will be flowing through retail outlets, and it’s prudent for retail merchants to ensure that, as transactions occur, they happen as safely as possible, with the confidence that any cash in store is secure.
And, despite the use of credit and debit cards and digital payments, it does seem that cash is still predominantly used.
