Weatherwatch meteorologist Anthony Cornelius said the weather system had an unusual pattern . I m calling this a hybrid low - but there s a case to say that it s just an East Coast Low too, he posted on his Facebook page. But I feel there s some tropical characteristics to this hence calling it a hybrid. In a nutshell - yes there s the potential this system could be fairly nasty, but we ll have to wait and see where things settle (so don t panic yet).
