Two Lee County fentanyl dealers arrested after 10-month investigation

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Two Lee County drug dealers are behind bars Friday after a 10-month investigation, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Mark Slowey, 54, and Dantae Cason, 17, were arrested for selling cocaine and fentanyl. Law enforcement caught the pair while investigating a group involved in illegal narcotics and street violence.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, the Community Response Unit, the Fort Myers Police Department and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force were involved in the investigation.
Slowey is is facing one charge of selling cocaine and fentanyl and one charge of intent to sell cocaine and fentanyl.
