cousin joe adoll asking why. it s absolutely devastating for everybody. it s hard for my aunt to really even go on about her life. reporter: mark saylor knew the rooz and been a highway patrol over. anybody could have stopped a runaway car, it was their friend. great on the brake and on the accelerator, knew how to control a car very well. i m sure he did everything in his power to bring the car under control. reporter: the car didn t even belong to the saylors, it was a loaner they received that morning while their own car was being serviced. according to the sheriff s report, the man who had drin the same loaner told the dealership about a serious problem with the car. family attorney that consumer brought it back to the dealership and told them the accelerator was stuck and the car was still used three days later with our clients all killed in the same car. reporter: detectives later discovered the rubber floor mat
