Racism, royals and a silent revolution

The recent strong exchanges between Royals over ‘who is racist’ have boiled over into a media frenzy for all to see. Racism has raised its ugly head yet again. Commentators have been drawing a connection with the Black Lives Matter movement which has had such traction globally. Like never before, aspects of history and culture are being questioned as people seek to uncover and restrain the slippery snake of systemic racism. I ask what can be done to truly crush the snake’s head, so we see a stark change? A superior movement is silently underway Jesus began an unprecedented movement: He announced God’s kingdom had come.  Jesus dealt with sin, including the dismantling and eradication of racism. He perfectly modelled crushing the serpent’s head.

To the 74 million with love

74 million including many expectant evangelicals voted for Trump only to see him lose.  “It’s over. Let’s get on with life,” you may say. But Trump’s loss to gain a second term in office has left many in a place of deep disappointment. Maybe like me you have a friend who interceded with all earnestness, convinced Trump’s re-election God-ordained. Now a cloud of uncertainty hangs over them. Indeed, many maintain he was God-sent, like a modern-day ‘Isaiah chapter 45 - Cyrus,’ fulfilling God’s purposes, while many have jettisoned this idea, especially due to his incitement of rioting on Capitol Hill in his final days.  In a way if we held loyalty to a Trump presidency you were damned and if you didn’t you are also damned? Disappointing?!

Get the cows unlocked and wells unplugged

Unlock ‘The Cows’ & know Van Gogh’s heart I say, unlock the meaning behind “The Cows” (Painting) and you will unlock access to the most raw and deepest part of Van Gogh’s heart and soul! And you unlock the why behind the very source and power that helped him craft his remarkable paintings. And most importantly, you can unlock his great hope that enabled him to endure despite all his pain and trials, to the end.  If you do this, you are on a journey to unplug the wells. Let me explain. Most art historians will tell you ‘The Cows’ painting is Van Gogh’s cheerful rendition of a study of cows by Jacob Jordaen (1624).  By comparison it does have distinctly bright colours which is typical of Van Gogh, so what is the deal?
