Apparently not everybody cared. And neighbors also reported seeing and hearing illegal fireworks shot off in petaluma last night. It looks like it was popular there, too. A fireworks mishap caused a man to suffer what police are describing as horrific injuries. It happened along port sailwood drive in thornton avenue. Police told abc7 news the man lighting a mortar type of firework inside a tube and went off before he had a chance to get away. The man is being treated.
