On Feb. 27, the District 75 board approved the hiring of Dr. Andrew Vondran to serve as the next principal at Carl Sandburg Middle School.
Vondran will begin at CSMS on July 1, following the retireme.
Three Carl Sandburg Middle School musicians and their teacher, Moulee Gupta, recorded a song on the morning of Aug. 1 inside their new recording studio while John Griffin of Griffin Audio Media in Grayslake recorded them from a mixing board in the next room.
