Northern San Luis Obispo was hit hard by the storm Wednesday with some parts of the county seeing damage from the high winds. Fallen trees, disrupted roadways, and scattered debris were also issues.
A telephone pole went down on the corner of 14th Street and Park in Paso Robles, with crews responding Wednesday morning.
Some community members say they have experienced property damage of their own due to strong winds.
Paso Robles resident Wendy Tuttle says the roof of her shed blew off in the middle of the night.

A wind-driven heavy rainstorm is causing power outages, downed trees and prompting preparations for flooding and debris flows.
As the rain continues to come down throughout the Central Coast, several trees and power lines have fallen down with it, leading to more than 70 power outages throughout San Luis Obispo county Wednesday morning.
“This winter storm has the potential to be the strongest to hit PG&E service area in several years,” Mark Mesesan with PG&E said.
More outages can be expected throughout the next few days, and some areas may be out of power for several hours since the conditions are unsafe for employees to repair.

Hundreds of PG&E customers on the Central Coast are without power due to a Public Safety Power Shutoff.
Those impacted are primarily just east of Highway 101 between Arroyo Grande and Santa Maria in unincorporated areas like Huasna or near the Twitchell Reservoir.
The PSPS went into effect just after 8 Tuesday morning for parts of San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara Counties. Gusty winds prompted PG&E to turn off power for the more than 460 residents. You get in this canyon like this and the wind really blows, said Steve High who lives in rural Nipomo not far from Upper Los Berros Road.
