WOBURN A jury trial date has been set for July 26 for Tewksbury Select Board member Mark Kratman, who was accused of a third offense of operating under the influence in November 2019.
TEWKSBURY The Wilmington/Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce gathered for its annual meeting Wednesday at Al Fresca Ristorante, where Wilmington's CMS Plumbing owner David Mulik was named as the 2023 Carmon Cunningham Business Legacy Award winner.

TEWKSBURY, MA Tewksbury s annual Memorial Day ceremony and parade will return Monday, organizer Mark Kratman confirmed.
The ceremony will take place from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Monday at Tewksbury Cemetary, 172 East Street. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at the Ryan School, head south on Main Street, and conclude at the Aubuchon Hardware plaza around noon.
Main Street will be closed from 8:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. More details on the closures and the route are available here.

The Memorial Day events will be the town s first major events in over a year, with last year s parade canceled due to the coronavirus. Over 80 groups are registered to march in the parade.

TEWKSBURY, MA Tewksbury voters opted for challengers in both contested races Saturday, voting out the incumbents on both the Board of Selectmen and the School Committee.
Todd Johnson and James Mackey, III, were elected to the Board of Selectmen, according to the unofficial results. Bridget Garabedian and Nicholas Parsons were elected to the School Committee.
Two-term selectman Mark Kratman and two-term School Committee member Jamey Cutelis were both voted out, each garnering about 20 percent of the vote.

TEWKSBURY, MA Fourteen candidates returned nominating papers to run for office in the annual town election, only four of them incumbents, the town clerk s office said Friday.
Friday was the deadline to to run in the April 10 election. Fifty valid resident signatures were required for each candidacy.
No candidates took out papers for two seats on the Board of Library Trustees. Incumbent Selectman Brian Dick and School Committee Member Scott Wilson are not running for re-election.
