CAPE TOWN - England rugby coach Eddie Jones refused to answer the question about referee Pascal Gauzereâs obviously incorrect decisions that resulted in two Welsh tries.
England had lost and Jones said that if he answered the question he would be fined and he still wanted to put food on the table for his wife and food in the bowl for his dog.
He may have been joking about not having enough in the bank to feed his family and pet but he wasnât joking about the fine.
Naomi Osaka: The people’s champion
By Mark Keohane
CAPE TOWN - THE conversation in women’s tennis has dramatically and emphatically shifted. Serena Williams, still full of pomp and panache as she steps towards the door of the 40s club, is on her way out and Naomi Osaka has very much stepped onto a stage that for nearly two decades belonged to Williams.
Osaka, born to a Japanese mother and Haitian-American father, has lived in the US since the age of three, but chose Japan as the flag she would carry throughout her professional tennis career.
And it’s been a career with a start unrivalled in the history of tennis.

All Blacks great Dan Carter, the rugby world s record points scorer, has been showered with praise since confirming his retirement.
Jonny Wilkinson, Matt Giteau and Quade Cooper are among Dan Carter’s international rugby rivals to shower praise on the retired All Blacks superstar – and the Springboks have invited him for “a braai’’. Carter’s greatness has also been hailed by foreign rugby unions, with Australia, England, France, Japan and the British and Irish Lions posting tributes on their official social media accounts. The entire spectrum of the rugby world – from Carter’s Canterbury country club Southbridge – to European Club Rugby – organisers of the European Champions Cup – and the champion five-eighth’s former French club Racing 92 have made generous acknowledgements.
