Kevin all looks pretty good as we go through 3 00 in the afternoon and into this evening. It finally looks like that is starting to die down. Into this evening, anywhere along the south, we are looking at sunshine. A few fairweather clouds in the North Country against the terrain that we continue to we will have fair skies into the evening. Tomorrow you will notice the system to the west making steady progress towards us. Into the afternoon, a little bit of light snow scattered around. Not everyone is going to see it tomorrow but the chances going to be there. 40 in southern areas. Which has been gusty at times, over 20 miles an hour. That will lighten up this evening. As we work our way through the Holiday Weekend, we will have much more coming up. Shelley walcott spoke to some people trying to make it to their holiday destinations and she joins us from the hooksett rest stop with more on that. Theres lots of traffic out on the highways this evening. But the people that we spoke with today say its actually moving pretty smoothly. Of course today is the day that millions of americans are heading to their holiday destination. The department of transportation says the most crowded time on the roads is actually right now. Then it will be busy again throughout the day on sunday. The d. O. T. Is asking people to keep an eye on the roads tomorrow, though. Its 35 in town. We have got readings at the freezing mark on the south shore and plymouth. Notice to the west its a bit colder. You can see there were a couple of snow showers and flurries approaching on radar but they have been drying up so far. This band starting to fill in west of the hartford area, and this is going to be shifting eastward here over the next few hours. There will be at least the chance of a few flurries this morning. Otherwise a lot of clouds. And the system here is off to the west, is going to bring in rain late in the day. For the Football Games this morning should only be in the low to mid 30s by midday. Tracking a big storm, it wont be a widespread travel issue tomorrow. Having said that, theres a narrow band of no showers over western, central, southeastern new york, stretching toward New Hampshire. It will be right on top of us tomorrow from sun up until about 10 00 or 11 00 tomorrow morning. Its so narrow a band that how we could possibly see would be coding to maybe just under a halfinch.
