They are slowly moved into their intended orbits after their launch, and first appear as a string of beads moving together across the sky,” said Aaron Boley, UBC physics and astronomy professor via email today, May 5. Mark Halpern, UBC physics and astronomy professor, said the satellites will later spread out across the sky. Okanagan residents weren t the only ones to report the satellites last night, May 4.
