Youth Hub Trust chairwoman and GP Dame Sue Bagshaw said the appeal was disappointing as it would create further costs in legal fees and delay the project. In its notice of appeal, VNA said the amenity of the entire neighbourhood, and the integrity, coherence, and character of the Gracefield Ave/Salisbury St/Durham St inner city residential area, would be adversely affected. The hub would bring “disturbance, safety issues and noise” and create traffic problems in the nearby streets and the wider transport network, they said.
