KEY ACTION Agreed to discuss a police protection contract with the village of Wilmot during a special meeting set for 6 p.m. March 8 in village hall.
DISCUSSION: Council needs to discuss a new contract for police protection by Beach City for Wilmot. According to village officials the village receives $20,000 per year for the Wilmot police contract however costs continue to increase for police protection. Village Clerk Deb Rentsch provided council with a copy of current the police contract with Wilmot and all the cost figures.
OTHER ACTION Approved a resolution to provide a two-year fire protection contract with Sugarcreek Township at a cost of $20,840 per year.
