Alan Shearer says two Tottenham Hotspur players proved a point last night

The Newcastle United legend was impressed by the performances of Tottenham midfielder Alli and forward Vinicius in the first half of the FA Cup third-round tie on Sunday evening.
Vinicius scored a hat-trick for Spurs in their 5-0 win, while Alli provided an assist and played well in the middle of the park.
Shearer said on BBC One on Sunday (5:47pm, January 10, 2021): “The two players we mentioned before the game who had to prove a point have proved it, Dele Alli and Vinicius.”
