The Association of Marina Industries Training Institute held its first virtual intermediate Marina Management course, with 25 students completing the month-long classroom event that ran twice a week beginning on Nov. 9. “The pandemic accelerated AMI’s plans to offer some of its courses in an online format no time like the present,” said AMI training coordinator Merritt Alves
in a statement. “We had attendees from as far away as Saudi Arabia, along with our neighbors in Ontario and within the states.” The course is the first step for students looking to earn their Certified Marina Manager and Certified Marina Operator certifications.
