The local VFW Post 2413 held its annual Memorial Day ceremony outside the Union County Courthouse on Monday, marking a day set aside for honoring fallen members of the U.S. Armed Services.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2413 Auxiliary held a lunch plate fundraiser on Friday to help raise money for an Auxiliary member currently battling colon cancer.
