The Greensboro Jewish Federation is joining an international campaign to provide support to vulnerable citizens living in Ukraine. In response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Greensboro nonprofit has joined The Jewish Federations of North America’s $20 million emergency campaign to provide humanitarian assistance.
Greensboro police are investigating reports of antisemitic flyers that were distributed in the city over the weekend. According to the Greensboro Jewish Federation, hundreds of households received antisemitic flyers that were wrapped in plastic in their driveways and yards. How widespread the distribution was across the city isn’t clear though. The police department confirmed that it received multiple calls from the Old Irving Park neighborhood.
