Nathan law, welcome to hardtalk. Thank you so much for having me again, stephen. Well, its a pleasure to have you back in the studio. We talked last soon after you fled from hong kong. Youve been living a life in exile for pretty much three years now. But your situation has changed recently because the chinese authorities or the hong kong authorities, i should say have put a bounty on your head of1 million hong kong dollars. What difference has that made . Well, its definitely a step up of the Intimidation Tactics that the chinese and Hong Kong Government has been using. For me, ive been wanted on several other charges, but putting a bounty on someone s head is completely new. But the charges, of course, ar

Andriy khlyvnyuk, welcome to hardtalk. Thank you for having me here. Good day, sir. Its a pleasure to have you here. Im very mindful that youve just made a pretty extraordinaryjourney, serving on the front line in ukraine with the Security Forces just a couple of days ago, and then, a long journey to here in london. In a couple of days, you will be making music in front of Tens Of Thousands of people at chelsea football stadium. All of that sounds kind of surreal. Does it feel that way to you . This is one kind of contrast. Three days ago, me and, actually, my partner who is here as a Shooting Cameraman we were under Artillery Fire in kherson and then, a trip by bus, sleep on a bus last night, and then, a flight here, and here i am. This is quite a contrast, believe me. And im very, very glad and happy to observe People Living a peaceful life and having peace problems, chatting in cafes and having, i dont know, everything even those trafficjams is fun. Is there any sense of guilt when

For a mugshot, but he did have his fingerprints taken. His Court Appearance took place just blocks from the us Capitol Building, where the events of january 6th played out. The Special Prosecutor alleges in his indictment that the former president fuelled the attack by Sowing Distrust in the 2020 election. The charges mr trump is facing include conspiracy to defraud the United States and conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, namely his attempt to stop the counting of the vote. Protests took place outside the District Court in washington, dc on thursday, as the former president faced the charges inside. Some were anti trump demonstrators, and some were his supporters, who waved the american flag. Before boaring his plane to travel back to newjersey, mr trump spoke briefly to reporters. He described the charges as the persecution of a political opponent. This is a very sad day for america. And it was also very sad driving through washington, dc and seeing the filth and the decay

One of lifes most underappreciated talents is to know when its time to move on to lifes next chapter. So i stand before you today, mr president and my colleagues, to say this will be my last term as republican leader of the senate. For more on mitch mcconnell s stepping down and the spending deal, heres our North America correspondent gary odonoghue. After repeated attempts to get a spending agreement, it does look like leadership in congress from both sides have at least reached a partial agreement on some other Spending Bills that they have been arguing about. It looks now in the next couple of days that resolutions were put through senate and the House Of Representatives to extend one of the deadlines until next friday, by which time they will pass Spending Bills on six separate departments. Now, they havent reached an agreement on the other six departments, but they are going to push the deadline for that back until march 22. So in some ways, this is progress being made and in some
